Bistek

A savory sensation, the Bistek is inspired by Filipino cuisines and combines garlic oil with Ketel One Vodka, sake, soy and rice, and is garnished with pickled onion.

Ingredients

1.5oz Garlic Oil Ketel One Vodka*

1oz Nigori Sake

2 Dashes of calamansi

4 Dashes of soy sauce

5 Drops of rice vinegar

3 Pickled onions for garnish

Equipment

1 Nick and Nora glass

1 Ice scoop

1 Strainer

1 Measuring jigger

1 Bar spoon

1 Mixing Glass

method

  1. Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass.

  2. Add ice and stir.

  3. Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass.

  4. Garnish with 3 pickled onions on a skewer.

*Garlic Oil Ketel One Vodka:

  1. Combine 2 oz Garlic infused Olive Oil and 750 ml of vodka in a jar.

  2. Agitate periodically for 30 mins.

  3. Freeze until oil becomes solid.

  4. Separate oil solids from vodka and bottle.

Alcohol content: 19g per serve.
