Cantarito

A classic Jalisco tequila cocktail with refreshing orange, lemon, and lime, served in a traditional clay cup called a jarrito de barro.

Ingredients

1.5oz Don Julio Tequila Blanco

0.5oz Fresh lime juice

1oz Fresh orange juice

1oz Fresh grapefruit juice

1 Dash of grapefruit soda

1 Jarrito de barro (clay cup)

method

  1. Prepare a clay cantarito cup by soaking in cold water for about 10 minutes.

  2. Add the tequila, fruit juices, and some salt into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.

  3. Strain into chilled cantarito cup (or a Collins glass) over fresh ice.

  4. Top with grapefruit soda and stir gently to combine.

  5. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Alcohol content: 12g per serve.
