A cool thirst-quencher. Don Julio Reposado Tequila, Cranberry Juice and Lime Juice, served up in a Collins glass and topped off with Ginger Ale. It's devilishly good!

Ingredients

1.75oz Don Julio Reposado Tequila

0.75oz  Cranberry Juice

0.75oz Lime Juice

0.5oz Simple Syrup

0.75oz Ginger Ale

1 Lime Wedge (Garnish)

Equipment

1 Highball Glass

1 Ice Scoop

1  Jigger

1  Bar Spoon

1 Tongs

method

  1. Add all ingredients to an ice-filled Highball glass.

  2. Stir to combine.

  3. Garnish with a Lime wedge.

15 g per serve

Interesting Facts

The El Diablo cocktail gets its name from the Spanish word for ‘Devil’. The drink is traditionally made with Tequila, but Vodka or Rum can also be used. It’s usually served in a tall glass with a slice of Lime.

History of the Drink

The El Diablo cocktail is believed to have oriGinated in Mexico in the 1940s. It was created by a man named Don Javier Delgado Corona, who owned a bar in the city of Tijuana. The drink became popular with American tourists and eventually made its way north of the border.
