Tanqueray is mixed hot with Port and Orange in this delicious, rich classic.

Ingredients

0.75oz Tanqueray Gin

0.75oz Port

0.75oz Orange Juice

0.75oz Lemon Juice

1Tsp Brown Sugar

5oz  Boiling Water

1  Orange Slice (Garnish)

6  Cloves (Garnish)

1  Cinnamon Stick (Garnish)

1 Star Anise (Garnish)

1 Pinch of Grated Nutmeg (Garnish)

Equipment

1 Heatproof Glass

1 Ice Scoop

1  Jigger

1 Bar Spoon

1 Tongs

method

  1. Build in a Heatproof glass.

  2. Stir gently to combine.

  3. Garnish an Orange slice studded with Cloves, Cinnamon Stick, Star Anise and a pinch of Grated Nutmeg.

12.1g per serve

History of the Drink

The Hot Toddy is said to have oriGinated in Scotland and is traditionally made with whisky, honey, water and a Lemon wedge. It’s often drunk as a way to stave off colds and flu.
