Mexican Caipirinha

The Caipirinha with a Mexican flair. Lime and sugar muddled together then topped with ice, Don Julio Reposado Tequila and fresh lime juice. Salud!

Ingredients

1.75oz Don Julio Reposado Tequila

0.5 Lime cut into chunks

0.5oz Sugar Syrup (2:1 ratio)

2 Lime Wedges (Garnish)

Equipment

1  Rocks glass

1  Muddler Bar Spoon

1 Tongs

method

  1. Muddle the Limes and sugar in the Rocks glass.

  2. When the Lime juice is fully extracted, add the Don Julio Reposado and fill three-quarters of the way with crushed ice.

  3. Stir the ingredients do that the Limes are lifted from the bottom of the glass and distributed throughout the drink.

  4. Finish with a cap of crushed ice.

Alcohol content:

15 g per serve
