1.75oz Tanqueray No. 10 Gin

0.75oz Pink Grapefruit Juice

0.25oz Sugar Syrup

1 Pink Grapefruit Twist (Garnish)

1 Martini Glass

1 Ice Scoop

1  Jigger

1 Cocktail Shaker

1 Hawthorne Strainer

1 Fine Strainer

method

  1. Shake all the liquid ingredients with ice.

  2. Fine strain into a chilled Martini glass.

  3. Garnish with a Pink Grapefruit twist.

History of the Drink

The Martini is a classic cocktail that has been enjoyed for well over a century. Originally, the term ‘Martini’ referred specifically to a cocktail made with Gin and Vermouth, served straight up in a chilled cocktail glass with a twist of Lemon or Olive garnish.
