Heritage:

Cardhu (orig. Car-Dhu), which means “Black Rock” in Gaelic, was founded and run in the 19th century by two strong, pioneering women distillers, Helen and Elizabeth Cumming. Over a span of 80 years, they helped make this small farm distillery into an industry leader.

One of the world’s leading Single Malt Scotch whiskies from one of the first legal distilleries on Speyside and the first distillery of John Walker & Sons, now the spiritual home of Johnnie Walker.

Pioneered by Helen and Elizabeth Cumming (the latter, the only female distiller of her time), Cardhu is a rich, smooth Whisky whose generous spirit reflects their sure touch.

Pouring Cardhu from its unique decanter into a large balloon glass is a truly deluxe experience, from the "pop" of the cork and the "glug" of the pour to the swirl in the glass.
