You can find Oban in the bustling seaside resort that has grown up around Oban distillery in the two centuries since it set up home in a fishing village. The West Highland Single Malt is still produced in the same unhurried, traditional fashion that was developed when the distillery opened in 1794.

One of Scotland’s oldest and smallest distilleries, Oban was built in 1794; the West Highland port city of the same name has grown around it.

The rich flavor of Oban comes from being made in two small stills and slow-cooled in tubs outside to maximize depth of flavor.
