Zacapa Rum is regarded as one of the finest in the world. Aged and blended in the 'House Above the Clouds', 7,500 feet above sea level, the cool mountain air slows aging, allowing Zacapa time to rest and develop character.
It was launched in 1976 - from the town of Zacapa in Guatemala.
Zacapa is crafted from virgin sugar cane honey, not molasses, and completely owns the process from the cane production to the bottle.
Zacapa's maturation follows the rules of the Solera system and the Rum is expertly blended in three different types of oak barrels in a cool climate high above sea level.
Its taste is so superb that it is the first Rum ever in the Rum International Hall of Fame and is best served neat or on the rocks.
