Place of work: Herbārjis

Latvian native, Arvis, started his career as a chef before moving into the world of communication and hospitality in 2002. He started bartending in one of Riga’s top spots, ‘Pulkvedim Neviens Neraksta’ (Nobody Writes to Colonel) before eventually opening and managing the famous ‘Café Cuba’ in his home city. For the past 7 years, Arvis has been working and exploring with many interesting concepts, bars and coffee shops and is now the head bartender and concept author of Herbārijs.
