Orri started in the restaurant business when he was just 16 and was instantly hooked on helping other people have a good time. At 18, he got behind the bar and worked his way up the career ladder, inspired by bartending heavyweights like Jim Meehan and fascinated by local ingredients and unusual flavours. Now the owner of Apotek Bar & Grill in Reykjavík, he’s a passionate advocate of sustainable bartending and focuses on making his venue more eco-friendly and reducing waste.
