Starting his career at the Hotel Allegro Papagayo, Jorge would watch with great interest the bartenders creating unique and exciting cocktails, sparking a newfound attraction for the industry. Having studied a basic cocktail course at the National Institute of Learning, Jorge continues to hone his craft developing his cocktail skills, knowledge of trends and sustainability. Introduced to the World Class platform by the team at Hotel Andaz Resort Peninsula de Papagayo, Jorge is overjoyed to be representing Costa Rica in Glasgow in a bid to become World Class Bartender of the Year 2019.
