What is Diageo Bar Academy?
Diageo Bar Academy is a global community for all of those working in the bar industry, offering both educational and inspirational content to help further their careers and create amazing drink experiences that, in turn, grow the spirits business around the world.
How can I sign up to the programme?
You will receive an email from MyDiageo; in that email, there will be a link to sign up for a consultation session via the Diageo Bar Academy website.
Who is eligible to take part in this programme?
We have invited applicants from our Raising the Bar programme to take part in the 1:1 Consultancy Programme who showed an interest in getting advice from an expert on a certain subject.
Are there spaces available for everyone?
The slots for the 1:1 Consultancy Programme from Raising the Bar are limited to one per person and will be booked on a first come first serve bases.
What do I do If I do not receive the questionnaire form?
You should receive a questionnaire as part of the confirmation email when you book a 1:1 session. You need to complete your questionnaire 72 hours before your session or your session will be cancelled. If you do not receive a questionnaire, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for support as soon as possible.
What do I include in my questionnaire?
The questionnaire will allow the consultant to understand more about your business and prepare for the session making it more beneficial and tailored to your specific needs. Please answer the questionnaire as best you can with full context of your business and the specific situation you are requiring advice on.
What if I do not fill in my form?
If you have not completed and returned your form 72 hours before your scheduled session, then your booking will be cancelled.
Can I book more than one session?
No, unfortunately there is only one session available per business.
How long will the sessions last?
Each session will last 1 hour.
What if I am not satisfied with my session?
We will send all participants a survey after completion of a session; we would welcome any feedback that our participants have so that we can improve future sessions.
I can no longer make my appointment what should I do?
You can reschedule or cancel your appointment by clicking the link in your confirmation email. Alternatively, you can send an email to email@example.com.
What is Zoom and how does it work?
Zoom is a web-based video conferencing tool that allows users to meet online, with or without video.
Your own Zoom account is not required if you are joining Zoom Meetings as a participant. If someone invites you to their meeting, you can join as a participant without creating an account.
What do I do if my zoom link is not working?
If you are having any technical issues, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for support.
Do I have to pay for the session?
No, the session is free.
Is it possible to get in touch with the consultant for a follow up session or if I have any questions afterwards?

Can I change the topic of my session?
Your topic has been aligned to you as a result of the survey you completed from MyDiageo so unfortunately you cannot change topics.
Can I give my session to another person?
No, sessions cannot be swapped with other people. This time is reserve for you and will be tailored to your completed questionnaire.
