History and Heritage
In 1769 Alexander Gordon set up a distillery in Southwark, an area famed for its clean water supplies, and got to work sourcing only the finest ingredients for his gins and perfecting the art of distillation. Gordon’s created one of the very first London Dry gins and is one of the first to be mixed with tonic.
Gordon’s gin was celebrated as a quality hallmark in a sea of gin mediocrity and quickly won popularity in London and soon, thanks to the British Navy, the four corners of the globe.
Today, the love of Gordon’s has spread so far that is now the No.1 international Gin, exported to over 180 countries. 250 years young, Gordon’s has continued to maintain the innovation and production standards set by its founder Alexander Gordon, never compromising on taste and quality. This includes the launch of Gordon’s Premium Pink, inspired by the original Gordon’s recipe and made using only natural fruit flavours to create the highest quality berry taste.
