If you want to give something special back to all the mums out there - and to improve your takings - this Mother’s Day then I’ve got the perfect serves for you.
It doesn’t have to be a long, busy shift serving your everyday cocktails - you can make it your own and give your customers something a little different. There’s always the option to put on a promotional menu to attract more customers to your bar.
Whether it’s vodka, rum or gin that’s popular on your menu I’ve got the cocktail to help you make this most of Mother’s Day weekend.
So get your recipe book out - here are my top tipples for the lucky ladies in your life and your bar…

My Perfect Lady
50ml RON ZACAPA™ 23 Year Old
10ml Creme de peche
10ml Sugar syrup
20ml Fresh lemon Juice
1 x Egg white (or equivalent to 20ml)
1 x Dash of lavender bitters
Method: Add all ingredients into a shaking tin, dry shake first with no ice, add lots of cubed ice.
Shake hard before double straining into a coupette glass and garnishing with sprigs of dried lavender.
(1.6 standard drinks* - 1.6 units per serve)

Strawberry Lane
50ml SMIRNOFF™ Vodka
25ml Lemon
15ml Sugar syrup
10ml Double cream
1 x Egg white (or equivalent to 20ml)
2 x Strawberries
Method: Add all ingredients into a shaker, muddle strawberries, dry shake egg white with no ice, add cubed ice.
Shake hard, double strain into a highball glass filled full with cubed ice, finish by topping off with soda water.

Rosa Martini Cocktail

40ml GORDON’S™ Gin
10ml Dry vermouth
10ml Framboise eau de vie
1 x Dash of rosewater
Method: Add all ingredients into a mixing glass and stir over cubed ice, fine strain into a martini glass, and garnish with a nasturtium leaf.
(1.3 standard drinks* - 1.9 units per serve)
(*One standard drink contains 8 grams of alcohol)
