Australia’s National Whisky Ambassador Katie Nagar, shares with us her favourite Whisky cocktail to warm the cockles.
This cocktail recipe is a cheeky flip variation that will make the perfect post-prandial drink for give your guests that after-dinner glow. In this drink, the bold flavours of Johnnie Walker Green Label are carried by the richness of the condensed milk and textured egg. Along with the nuttiness of Amontillado Sherry, the aromatics of bergamot and sweetness of maple make this drink dangerously moreish.
- 50 ml Johnnie Walker Green Label
- 20 ml Condensed milk
- 10 ml Amontillado Sherry
- 10 ml Whisked egg (crack an egg into a bowl and whisk to combine)
- 10 ml Earl Grey maple syrup (rest 3 teabags in 100 ml of maple syrup overnight, press teabags to release maximum flavour)
- Hard shake with ice.
- Serve up and garnish with grated nutmeg.
