Chotipong Leenutaphong and Debby Tang, the husband and wife duo who founded Vesper, opened the bar and restaurant to share their passion for Spanish and Italian-influenced cuisine and delicious European cocktails. Vesper is named after three things: James Bond’s love interest in Casino Royale; the Latin translation for the word, which means “evening ritual”; and, of course, the Vesper Martini.

Choti and Debby enlisted the help of a London-based team of mixologists, Fluid Movement, to create a list of signature cocktails inspired by forgotten classics, using only the finest premium spirits and ingredients. For a special evening, Vesper’s cocktail and cuisine paired dinners guarantee a delectable dining experience. Vesper also runs special tastings, cocktails of the week, and other themed events – it really is the place to be!

With its retro décor and comfortable leather sofas and armchairs, Vesper creates a relaxed, intimate atmosphere which is perfect for the appreciation of the classic cocktails and traditional cuisine on offer.

Silver Vesper Martini

40ml TANQUERAYTM London Dry Gin infused with Lavender

20ml KETEL ONETM Vodka

10ml French vermouth

2 Dashes of orange bitters

METHOD: Stir all the ingredients with cubed ice. Strain into the cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon twist and serve.
