Enjoy the zesty and refreshing taste of Ypióca Cachaça with lemon and sugar.

History

This classic cocktail is created using cachaça (a spirit distilled from fermented sugarcane juice), sugar, and lime. Traditionally made in a large jar for sharing, it can also be served individually in a rocks glass with a citrus garnish. Its name “caipirinha” translates to “little country girl” and it’s believed this drink was created by landowning farmers in the countryside of São Paolo state, where there was a strong sugar cane culture. This Brazilian-famous specialty has become more widely available in recent years and is now imbibed around the globe.
