Joan became a bartender 7 years ago at a restaurant in Nairobi that was one of the first to have a cocktail culture. She now works at Artcaffe coffee and bakery which owned Onami kitchen bar, that was sadly closed after a terror attack in the mall where it was. Joan loves the endless possibilities in bartending, wants to see the world of cocktails develop in Kenya and is currently working hard to master ice crafting.
