Joao first fell in love with the profession through taking a bartending job on the side to fund his Hotel Management course. By tapping into his childhood memories, Joao gains inspiration for his cocktails as he tries to reproduce those memories using flavours. Joao describes Ron Zacapa 23 as his favourite spirit due to its versatility. He loves to serve it neat in an old fashion glass for winter and zest it up in the summer on the rocks with orange peel.
