Hailing from the sunny shores of Portugal, 34-year-old Nelson de Matos has been part of the bartending industry since 2001. He’s currently Head Bartender at Gusto by Heinz Beck, the Michelin star restaurant at the Conrad, Algarve, where he loves performing for his guests. For him, creativity, hospitality, humility and innovation are the foundations for any successful bartender – having the ability to transform moments into memories through experiences in the bar.
