Francis Ndung'u (known as Frank) began his career in the hospitality industry in 2014 as a glasshand at Safari Park hotel in Kenya’s capital. His interest and undeniable passion for bartending led to his promotion to Banquet's Bartender in 2015 and eventually to the main restaurant's Head Bartender at the hotel. Within a matter of years Frank was hand-picked to be part of the pioneer bartending team which opened the Heroes bar & restaurant in September 2019 - a top cocktail bar and restaurant in Nairobi Kenya, renowned for exceptional cocktails and theatrics. Frank’s milestones include qualifying as World Class finalist in 2021, being a DBA trainer and being crowned as World Class Bartender of the Year Kenya 2022.
