Maximiliano Martinez, or Machi as he is more commonly known, is a bartender at the Tiki Bar of Mar del Plata, Argentina. Machi’s work is focused on the evolution of tiki culture through modern techniques, seasonal flavours and ingredients supplied by local producers. Before becoming a bartender, Machi’s first passion was music which continues to be his passion alongside his career in the drinks industry. His drink of choice is a classic tiki cocktail such as a Mai Tai or Zombie.
