Oliver Schmidt’s bartending journey began during his study of Economics where he worked part-time at Barock Bar, Regensburg. Here he learnt his craft and fell in love with serving customers and working behind the bar. After completing his bachelor’s degree, Oliver paused his bartending career and began a full-time job as an Auditor, however his love for the industry prevailed and he returned to Barock Bar. As he now moves on to GRID bar in Cologne, Oliver is excited to undertake new challenges including World Class Bartender of the Year Global Finals 2022.
