Yui Ogata - Japan

Born on Japan’s southern island of Kyushu, Yui believes that although becoming a bartender by chance, it was pure dedication that led to her success. Hired by a hotel chain at 18 years old, Yui was moved from restaurant service to the hotel lounge. As she grew into the job, her interest developed and she found inspiration at a local cocktail competition. Yui’s bartending philosophy is simple: make good cocktails with local ingredients and make sure each customer leaves happier than when they arrived.
