Ingredients

1.25oz Smirnoff Grape

0.25oz  Vanilla-Orange-Cinnamon Liqueur

0.5oz  Lemon Juice

0.25oz  Simple Syrup

1.5oz Dry Champagne

1  Small Bunch of Grapes (Garnish)

Equipment

1  Martini Glass

1  Ice Scoop

1 Jigger

1  Cocktail Shaker

1 Hawthorne Strainer

1 Fine Strainer

1 Tongs

method

  1. Shake first four liquid ingredients with ice.

  2. Fine strain into a chilled Martini glass.

  3. Top up with Dry Champagne.

  4. Garnish with a small bunch of Grapes.

The French 75 was invented in 1915 by Harry MacElhone, the owner of Harry's New York Bar in Paris. The drink was supposedly named after the French 75-millimeter field gun.
