1.75oz Zacapa No. 23
2.5oz Pomegranate Juice
1.75oz Apple Cider
0.75oz Soda Water
1 Lemon Wedge (Garnish)

1 Highball Glass
1 Ice Scoop
1 Jigger
1 Bar Spoon
1 Tongs
method
Build in an ice-filled Highball glass.
Stir gently to combine.
Garnish with a Lemon wedge.

Interesting Facts
Whilst an exact recipe for the Spritz is difficult to ascertain, bartenders often gave recipes using words like ‘Splash of’ as opposed to quantities. This was considered the norm for the original Spritz to be equal parts wine and carbonated water.

According to the history, Austrian soldiers who were stationed in Venice created the drink by adding soda water to the local wines.
