History of the Drink

The history of the Madras dates back to the 1970s, when it was a popular drink among the jet set and party crowd. The cocktail's popularity was largely due to the efforts of the Cranberry juice industry, which promoted the drink as a way to showcase their product. The Madras is typically made with Vodka, Cranberry juice and Orange juice, and often garnished with a wedge of Lime.
