    Captain Morgan White Rum

  • 25ml

    Lime Juice

  • 15ml

    Sugar Syrup

  • 25ml

    Soda Water

  • 0.5

    Lime Chopped into Chunks

  • 12

    Mint Leaves

  • 1

    Mint Sprig (Garnish)

  • 1

    Lime Wedge (Garnish)

Method

  • Preparation
    1. Muddle the Lime and Mint and Sugar Syrup in a Highball Glass.
    2. Add the Rum, crushed ice, and churn.
    3. Add a crushed ice cap.
    4. Top with Soda.
    5. Garnish with a Mint Sprig and Lime Wedge.

History of the drink

Some date this cocktail back to the 1500's and that Sir Francis Drake had something to so with it. It's hard to prove or disprove this, but what we do know is that it has been a global favourite for decades.
