Sherried Dandy Sour

The dried fruit flavours we often describe in Johnnie Walker Black Label are Christmas cake in style and the heavier and more full-bodied Speyside malts in the whisky really lend themselves to festive favourites such as sherry and nutmeg.

Ingredients

30ml Johnnie Walker Black Label

20ml Oloroso Sherry (or other dry sherry)

15ml Lemon Juice

20ml Sugar Syrup

15ml Egg White

1 Sprinkle of nutmeg to garnish

Equipment

1 Shaker

1 Rocks Glass

method

  1. Shake all ingredients for 15-20 seconds. 

  2. Strain into a rocks glass over cubed ice and lemon wedge

  3. Garnish with grated nutmeg.
