The Hibiscus Morita
If you like to add spice to your life and to your cocktails, then you absolutely have to try a Hibiscus Morita. This is one of my favourite spicy yet sour cocktails made from Don Julio Blanco, Hibiscus, Morita chilli, lime juice and agave syrup. Delicious!



Serves:
Ingredients
50ml Don Julio Blanco
20ml Lime juice
20ml natural syrup
20ml agave syrup
60ml Hibiscus Morita reduction*
Equipment
1 shaker
1 strainer
method
Add all of the ingredients to a shaker
Shake with passion
Prepare the rim of the glass with chilli powder and salt
Strain into the glass over ice
*Hibiscus Morita reduction method:
Boil the hibiscus in water to produce the syrup
Separately boil 2 pieces of Morita in 200ml water
Blend and then strain the liquid
Then blend one part hibiscus syrup, one part sugar and 20ml Morita juice until smooth
