A Negroni, but not as we know it! Johnnie Walker Black Label, stirred down with lacto fermented figs, Italian bitters and red vermouth, served long over ice and finished with a spritz of effervescent soda.

Ingredients

30ml Johnnie Walker, Black Label

15ml of lacto-fermented figs

30ml Italian bitter aperitivo

20ml red vermouth

100ml soda water

Equipment

1 Shaker

1 Stirrer

1 Strainer

method

  1. Measure 15ml of lacto fermented figs into shaker

  2. Measure 30ml of Italian bitter aperitivo into shaker

  3. Measure 20ml of red vermouth into shaker

  4. Measure 30ml of Johnnie Walker into shaker

  5. Stir gently, and strain into a highball glass over ice

  6. Top with soda water, and stir gently
