1oz Dry Vermouth
1oz Pineapple Juice
1 Lime Twist on glass rim
Equipment
1 Highball Glass
1 Bar Spoon
1 Martini Glass
1 Shaker
1 Hawthorne Strainer
1 Fine Strainer
1 Tongs
1 Cocktail Stick
method
Add all the liquid ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake and fine strain into a chilled Martini glass.
Garnish with the Lime twist.

History of the Drink
Many 1930's classics, including this one, are attributed to the Algonquin Hotel in New York City. The hotel was a gathering place for literary figures and the drink became associated with them.
