Ingredients

1.75oz Don Julio Blanco Tequila

3.5oz Club Soda

8 Mint Leaves

1.5 Teaspoon Sugar

0.25oz  Lime Juice

1 Mint Sprig (Garnish)

Equipment

1 Highball Glass

1  Ice Scoop

1  Jigger

1 Bar Spoon

1 Tongs

method

  1. Clap Mint to release essential oils.

  2. Add all ingredients to an ice-filled Highball glass.

  3. Stir to combine.

  4. Garnish with a Mint Sprig.

Alcohol content: 15 g per serve

 The Mojito is arguably the most popular of Cuban cocktails with countless bartenders creating their own twists on this classic recipe.

History of the Drink

Some date this cocktail back to the 1500's and that Sir Francis Drake had something to so with it. It's hard to prove or disprove this, but what we do know is that it has been a global favourite for decades.
