Ingredients

1.75oz  Johnnie Walker Red Label

8 Mint Leaves

3 Lemon Slices with 1 slice for garnish

0.25oz  Sugar Syrup

5oz Soda Water

Equipment

1 Highball Glass

1  Ice Scoop

1 Jigger

1 Bar Spoon

1 Tongs

method

  1. Add all the ingredients to an ice-filled Highball glass.

  2. Stir to combine.

  3. Garnish with a Lemon slice.

 The Mojito is arguably the most popular of Cuban cocktails with countless bartenders creating their own twists on this classic recipe.

History of the Drink

Some date this cocktail back to the 1500's and that Sir Francis Drake had something to so with it. It's hard to prove or disprove this, but what we do know is that it has been a global favorite for decades.
