Ron Zacapa Ámbar Mojito

Zacapa Ambar is mixed with Mint and Lime in this refreshingly tasty classic.

Ingredients

50ml Zacapa Ámbar

15ml Lime Juice

15ml Sugar Syrup

8 Fresh Mint Leaves

60ml Soda Water

1 Mint Sprig (Garnish)

Equipment

1 Highball glass

1 Ice Scoop

1  Jigger

1 Muddler

1 Bar Spoon

1 Tongs

method

  1. Muddle all the ingredients except the Mint Leaves with Soda Water a Highball Glass.

  2. Fill with Crushed Ice and churn.

  3. Top with Crushed Ice if needed and top up with Soda Water.

  4. Garnish with a Mint Sprig.

History of the Drink

Some date this cocktail back to the 1500's and that Sir Francis Drake had something to so with it. It's hard to prove or disprove this, but what we do know is that it has been a global favourite for decades.
