History of the drink

The Spritz is a beverage that has its roots in Venice and is named after the German verb ‘Spritzen’, which means to spray or splash. According to the history, Austrian soldiers who were stationed in Venice created the drink by adding soda water to the local wines. By using various liqueurs, you can make practically endless varieties of the Spritz.
