Rob Roy

The  Rob Roy cocktail recipe was created in 1894 at the Waldorf hotel, NYC, for the premiere of an operetta of the same name.


  • 1 oz.  Johnnie Walker Black Label
  • .5 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • 3 Dashes Angostura bitters
  • Cherry garnish


  1. Measure all ingredients in jigger and pour into mixing glass with ice
  2. Stir with bar spoon
  3. Strain and serve 'straight up' into a chilled cocktail glass
  4. Garnish with a cherry.

Alcohol content: 0.7 fl oz. per serve
