A pre-WWII cocktail, the Gimlet was named after the sharp metal utensil used to perforate casks.
|Tanqueray London Dry Gin||45 ml|
|Fresh Lime Juice||15 ml|
- Measure all ingredients and pour into mixing glass with ice
- Stir with bar spoon
- Strain and serve ‘straight up’ into a chilled cocktail glass
- Garnish with a lime twist
