TEQUILA SUNRISE
The drink cocktail is said to be invented during the 50’s but was at its peak during the 70’s disco era. The original version used crème de cassis instead of grenadine
COCKTAIL RECIPE
COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS:
Don Julio Blanco | 45 ml |
Fresh Orange Juice | 120 ml |
Grenadine Syrup | 15 ml |
BAR TOOLS
Jigger
Highball glass
Bar spoon
PREPARATION:
- Measure tequila using the jigger and pour into highball glass
- Add ice and orange juice
- Stir well
- Pour grenadine with aid of bar spoon along the inner edge of the glass
- Allow the grenadine to settle at the bottom to create a sunrise effect
- Garnish with orange slice and cherry.
