Ingredients

30g Bee wax

250ml Johnnie Walker Black Label

75ml Sweet vermouth

25ml Benedictine

10 Dashes of peychaud bitters

5 Dashes of Angostura Bitters

100ml Filtered water

1 Induction

1 Stock pan (for hot water bath)

1 Measuring jar

1 Glass bottle

1 Micro line grater

1 Weighing scale

1 Vintage coupe glass

method

  1. Grate 30g of wax and add it into a glass bottle and place it in a hot water bath until it melts.

  2. While the wax is melted, roll the hot wax around to coat it inside the bottle.

  3. Let it set and then mix all the ingredients in a measuring jar.

  4. Pour the premix into the bottle and leave to infuse at room temperature for at least 2 weeks.

  5. Pour 90ml premix into a chilled coupe glass and garnish it with a lemon peel.
