Named after Robert Roy MacGregor, the Scottish Robin Hood of the 18th century, the Rob Roythis cocktail recipe was created in 1894 at the Waldorf Hotel, NY for the premiere of an operetta of the same name.
|Johnnie Walker Black Label||40 ml|
|Sweet Vermouth||20 ml|
|Angostura Bitters||3 dashes|
- Measure all ingredients in jigger and pour into mixing glass with ice
- Stir with bar spoon
- Strain and serve ‘straight up’ into a chilled cocktail glass
- Garnish with a cherry
