A pre-prohibition cocktail, named after the Philadelphia mens club of the same name, which met in the Bellevue-Stratford hotel.
COCKTAIL RECIPE
COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS
Tanqueray No. Ten | 45 ml |
Fresh Lemon Juice | ½ Lemon |
Raspberry Syrup | 10 ml |
Egg White | 1 Egg |
Sugar | 1 Teaspoon |
BAR TOOLS
Cocktail shaker
Jigger
Cocktail Strainer
PREPARATION:
- Measure Gin and all other liquid ingredients in a jigger and pour into cocktail shaker with ice
- Shake vigorously
- Pour through cocktail strainer into a chilled cocktail glass
To achieve a foamy ‘head’, the cocktail ingredients may be ‘dry shaken’ first, with ice added in later.
