CLOVER CLUB

A pre-prohibition cocktail, named after the Philadelphia mens club of the same name, which met in the Bellevue-Stratford hotel.

COCKTAIL RECIPE

COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS

Tanqueray No. Ten 45 ml
Fresh Lemon Juice ½ Lemon
Raspberry Syrup 10 ml
Egg White 1 Egg
Sugar 1 Teaspoon


BAR TOOLS

Cocktail shaker
Jigger
Cocktail Strainer

PREPARATION:

  1. Measure Gin and all other liquid ingredients in a jigger and pour into cocktail shaker with ice
  2. Shake vigorously
  3. Pour through cocktail strainer into a chilled cocktail glass

To achieve a foamy ‘head’, the cocktail ingredients may be ‘dry shaken’ first, with ice added in later.
