Ingredients
50ml Don Julio Reposado Tequila
100ml Orange Juice
15ml Grenadine
1 Lime Wedge (Garnish)
Equipment
1 Highball Glass
1 Ice Scoop
1 Jigger
1 Bar Spoon
1 Tongs
method
Add all ingredients to an Ice-filled Highball Glass.
Stir to combine.
Garnish with a Lime Wedge.

History of the Drink
The first of the two tequila sunrise variations are claimed to have been invented in or around 1930 in the Agua Caliente resort in Tijuana, Mexico, which gained popularity during US Prohibition.
