Bartender Pouring Baileys

If there’s one tipple that we need no excuse to indulge in over Christmas, it’s BaileysBaileys. This year, go beyond pouring it over ice and toast the festive season by creating delicious cocktailscocktails - we have provided all the inspiration with three great ways to start below. First, let’s look at what gives Baileys its iconic flavour and show why it has so much more to give.

The Baileys story began when its founders first dreamt of creating a unique and decadent liqueurliqueur using two of Ireland’s most delicious ingredients; rich dairy cream and the finest whiskeywhiskey. With the addition of a few more special ingredients, by 1974, the Baileys we all know and love was perfected.

Baileys gives off a complex chocolate aroma with hints of exotic vanilla and the soft scent of Irish whiskey. As you sip, the smooth Irish whiskey perfectly complements the richness of the fresh dairy cream, cocoa and vanilla, resulting in a luxurious and indulgent taste. Finally, the warming sensation of whiskey coupled with fresh cream gives you Baileys’ signature silky-smooth texture.
